Artisan Coffee · Est. 2018
Single-origin beans, slow-roasted in-house. From the farm to your hands — crafted with patience, served with soul.
Our Story
Ember & Grind started as a single roaster in a small garage, fueled by one obsession: finding out what coffee could taste like when every step was done with intention.
We source directly from small farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Sumatra — building real relationships with growers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Today, we roast, brew, and serve in the heart of the city — but the spirit is the same. Slow down. Taste deeply. Stay a while.
"Coffee is not just a drink. It's an invitation to slow down — a small ritual that says: this moment is worth being present for."
— Marcus Lena, Head Roaster
Our Craft
01 — Source
We visit farms personally. No middlemen, no mystery — just transparent relationships with the people who grow our beans.
02 — Roast
Every batch is roasted in small quantities in our shop. We dial the roast profile to each bean's unique character.
03 — Rest
Freshly roasted beans need time. We wait the right number of days before brewing to unlock the full flavor.
04 — Brew
Our baristas dial in grind size, water temp, and ratio for every espresso — because the last step matters as much as the first.
What Guests Say
"I've been coming here every morning for two years. The cortado is consistently the best I've had anywhere in the city. It's become my ritual."
"The cold brew here is in a league of its own — smooth, chocolatey, not bitter at all. I dragged my whole office here and now we all have a problem."
"Ember & Grind feels like a place that genuinely cares. The staff know their coffee, the space is warm, and the beans they source are remarkable."
